Content Policy

1. Sensitive Information

Polemic intends to protect the sensitive information of our users. To this end, any behavior with the intent of obtaining sensitive personal information (including but not limited to: Full Name, Date of Birth, Home Address, Social Security Number, private email) will result in an immediate hardware ban from Polemic if deemed malicious. Please also note that you are not allowed to share this information over our platform voluntarily.

2. Plagiarism

Polemic intends to allow the complete intellectual liberty of our users. To this end, any behavior with the intent of reusing another user's ideas without disclosure and proper credit will result in the deletion of the stolen content and appropriate consequences.

3. Spam and "Trolling"

Polemic intends to ensure the frictionless ability of our users to engage in discourse. To this end, any behavior with the intent of interrupting such discussions (including but not limited to: posts and replies which are nonsensical, of repeated phrases or images, "rage-bait", self-promotion, or unrelated to the forum or thread in which they are created) will result in swift punishment from our staff.

4. Hostility

Polemic intends to provide a space where our users will come to conclusions on certain contentious issues. To this end, any behavior which is untoward this goal (including but not limited to: ripostes, value judgements, and parochial/unnuanced posts or replies) will result in mutes.

5. Not Safe For Work Content

Pornography and gore are not permitted on Polemic.
